About the Spinarak card
Numbered 112 of 217 in Lost Origin, released in September 2022, Spinarak is a Common, a Basic Darkness-type carrying 50 HP.
As a Basic Pokémon, Spinarak needs no prior evolution to put into play, which made it a practical card in the era's decks.
Illustrated by Atsuko Nishida. Nishida is the original designer of Pikachu and many Gen 1 Pokémon, and her card work has a soft, rounded warmth that suits the friendlier creatures.
Printed on the card, the Spinarak Pokédex entry reads: "Although the poison from its fangs isn't that strong, it's potent enough to weaken prey that gets caught in its web."
What is Spinarak worth?
