About the Mew card
Numbered 32 of 69 in Hidden Fates, released in August 2019, Mew is a Rare, a Basic Psychic-type carrying 80 HP.
As a Basic Pokémon, Mew needs no prior evolution to put into play, which made it a practical card in the era's decks.
Illustrated by Atsuko Nishida. Nishida is the original designer of Pikachu and many Gen 1 Pokémon, and her card work has a soft, rounded warmth that suits the friendlier creatures.
Printed on the card, the Mew Pokédex entry reads: "Because it can use all kinds of moves, many scientists believe Mew to be the ancestor of Pokémon."
About Mew in the Pokémon world
The original Mythical Pokémon. Famous for the "Mew under the truck" rumor in 1998. Only legitimately obtainable through Nintendo events at launch. No Mew in Wizards-era sets until the famous Southern Islands promo. Its rarity in pre-Internet Pokémon collecting drives lasting cult interest.
What is Mew worth?
Mew is a non-holo Rare. In Hidden Fates, value concentrates in the holo rares, so a Mew trades modestly, though a clean, well-centered 1st Edition copy in PSA 10 is scarcer than the print run suggests and carries a real premium. Check the live price above for the figure by grade.

Confirm the print and finish on Mew before pricing it, since variant and rarity set the market more than the card name alone.
Grading and condition
On Mew, look at the corners and the framed border first. Non-holo Rares took more handling than the chase holos, so a sharp, centered copy of Mew in a true PSA 10 is harder to find than the print run suggests.
If you are collecting Mew
For Mew, check centering by eye, edge whitening on all four sides, and surface under angled light. Submission math on Mew rarely works unless the card has independent demand.
