About the Mew card
Numbered 11 of 25 in Celebrations, released in October 2021, Mew is a Rare Holo, a Basic Psychic-type carrying 60 HP.
As a Basic Pokémon, Mew needs no prior evolution to put into play, which made it a practical card in the era's decks.

Mew carries this Pokédex flavor text: "Its DNA is said to contain the genetic codes of all Pokémon, so it can use all kinds of techniques."
About Mew in the Pokémon world
The original Mythical Pokémon. Famous for the "Mew under the truck" rumor in 1998. Only legitimately obtainable through Nintendo events at launch. No Mew in Wizards-era sets until the famous Southern Islands promo. Its rarity in pre-Internet Pokémon collecting drives lasting cult interest.
What is Mew worth?
Mew is a holo rare, one of the cards that holds Celebrations's value. The rarity tier decides most of it, since the same card prints at several tiers with very different prices. In top-grade 1st Edition, Celebrations holos range from the mid hundreds for the lesser cards up to the set's marquee chase; raw and Unlimited copies trade for a fraction of that. Print variants and how to spot them
Confirm the print and finish on Mew before pricing it, since variant and rarity set the market more than the card name alone.
Grading and condition
For graded buyers, the holo window on Mew is where most points are won or lost. Surface scratches and foil misregistration are common on these cards, and centering was inconsistent enough that clean PSA 10s stay scarce. Read the psychic foil at a 45-degree angle under strong light before committing.
