The set

Jungle is a 64-card set released in June 1999, the first expansion after Base Set. It printed in 1st Edition and Unlimited with no Shadowless variant, and it added a famous wrinkle: the No Symbol error from the first print run. Its sixteen Rare Holos hold almost all of the value, led by Scyther and the Eeveelutions.
The holos that matter

Scyther leads on the strength of its art and heavy tournament play, which thinned the high-grade supply. The three Eeveelutions, Vaporeon, Jolteon, and Flareon, form the chase, with Snorlax close behind. Wigglytuff, Pinsir, and the rest of the sixteen fill out the run, and Wigglytuff in particular is famously tough to center.
The No Symbol layer

The No Symbol error from the first Jungle print run sits on top of the normal variant question. Any card with a missing set symbol in the lower-right corner of the artwork carries a premium over the corrected print, and the biggest premiums land on the chase holos. It is the single most valuable thing to know when buying raw Jungle cards.
Collecting Jungle

A full sixteen-card holo run in one variant is the natural Jungle project, and the Eeveelution trio is a popular sub-project on its own. Surface and centering are the grade caps, and Wigglytuff is the centering test of the set. Collectors who want the extra challenge chase the No Symbol versions, which turns a sixteen-card run into a much harder hunt.
