Piloswine

Piloswine is card 36 of 66 in Neo Revelation, released in September 2001, an Uncommon. It is a Stage 1 Fighting-type with 90 HP.

As a Stage 1, it evolves from Swinub, which places Piloswine deeper in its line and means most collectors hold it alongside the cards it evolves from.

Illustrated by Atsuko Nishida. Nishida is the original designer of Pikachu and many Gen 1 Pokémon, and her card work has a soft, rounded warmth that suits the friendlier creatures.

The card's flavor text gives Piloswine a line of lore: "If it charges at an enemy, the hairs on its back stand up straight. It is very sensitive to sound."
