Numbered 117 of 230 in Obsidian Flames, released in August 2023, Lycanroc is an Uncommon, a Stage 1 Fighting-type carrying 130 HP.
It evolves from Rockruff, so Lycanroc is a later-stage card that set-builders usually slot into a full evolution run rather than buy alone.
Illustrated by Mitsuhiro Arita. Arita painted the Base Set Charizard and much of the early holo run, and his work has a painterly weight that set the visual tone of the Wizards era.
Lycanroc carries this Pokédex flavor text: "This Pokémon uses its rocky mane to slash any who approach. It will even disobey its Trainer if it dislikes the orders it was given."
