About the Kangaskhan card
Numbered 26 of 130 in Base Set 2, released in February 2000, Kangaskhan is a Rare, a Basic Colorless-type carrying 90 HP.
As a Basic Pokémon, Kangaskhan needs no prior evolution to put into play, which made it a practical card in the era's decks.
Illustrated by Mitsuhiro Arita. Arita painted the Base Set Charizard and much of the early holo run, and his work has a painterly weight that set the visual tone of the Wizards era.
Printed on the card, the Kangaskhan Pokédex entry reads: "The infant rarely ventures out of its mother's protective pouch until it is three years old."

A parent Pokémon with a baby in its pouch. Famously the parent half of the Mr. Mime father-trade glitch in the games. Jungle holo Kangaskhan has steady collector demand. The famous Family Event holo Kangaskhan (1998) is a separate and much rarer card.
What is Kangaskhan worth?
Kangaskhan is a non-holo Rare. In Base Set 2, value concentrates in the holo rares, so a Kangaskhan trades modestly, though a clean, well-centered 1st Edition copy in PSA 10 is scarcer than the print run suggests and carries a real premium. Check the live price above for the figure by grade.

Grading and condition
Non-holo Rares like Kangaskhan are easier on surface but no kinder on centering. Wizards-era cards were less protected than the holos, so high-grade Kangaskhan survivors can be scarcer than expected, with edge whitening the usual cap.
