Hoopa · Lost Origin, what to know.
About the Hoopa card
Hoopa is card 122 of 217 in Lost Origin, released in September 2022, a Rare. It is a Basic Darkness-type with 120 HP.
As a Basic Pokémon, Hoopa needs no prior evolution to put into play, which made it a practical card in the era's decks.
Illustrated by Sanosuke Sakuma.
The card's flavor text gives Hoopa a line of lore: "It gathers things it likes and passes them through its loop to teleport them to a secret place."
What is Hoopa worth?
Hoopa is a non-holo Rare. In Lost Origin, value concentrates in the holo rares, so a Hoopa trades modestly, though a clean, well-centered 1st Edition copy in PSA 10 is scarcer than the print run suggests and carries a real premium. Check the live price above for the figure by grade.
Print variants and how to spot them
Confirm the print and finish on Hoopa before pricing it, since variant and rarity set the market more than the card name alone.
Grading and condition
On Hoopa, look at the corners and the framed border first. Non-holo Rares took more handling than the chase holos, so a sharp, centered copy of Hoopa in a true PSA 10 is harder to find than the print run suggests.
If you are collecting Hoopa
For Hoopa, check centering by eye, edge whitening on all four sides, and surface under angled light. Submission math on Hoopa rarely works unless the card has independent demand.
