Electrode · Hidden Fates, what to know.
About the Electrode card
Electrode is card 22 of 69 in Hidden Fates, released in August 2019, a Rare. It is a Stage 1 Lightning-type with 100 HP.
As a Stage 1, it evolves from Voltorb, which places Electrode deeper in its line and means most collectors hold it alongside the cards it evolves from.
Illustrated by Anesaki Dynamic.
The Pokédex entry printed on Electrode reads: "It explodes in response to even minor stimuli. It is feared, with the nickname of "The Bomb Ball.""
About Electrode in the Pokémon world
The fully evolved Voltorb. Inverted color scheme. Jungle holo Electrode has thin demand outside set completionists.
What is Electrode worth?
Electrode is a non-holo Rare. In Hidden Fates, value concentrates in the holo rares, so a Electrode trades modestly, though a clean, well-centered 1st Edition copy in PSA 10 is scarcer than the print run suggests and carries a real premium. Check the live price above for the figure by grade.
Print variants and how to spot them
Confirm the print and finish on Electrode before pricing it, since variant and rarity set the market more than the card name alone.
Grading and condition
On Electrode, look at the corners and the framed border first. Non-holo Rares took more handling than the chase holos, so a sharp, centered copy of Electrode in a true PSA 10 is harder to find than the print run suggests.
If you are collecting Electrode
For Electrode, check centering by eye, edge whitening on all four sides, and surface under angled light. Submission math on Electrode rarely works unless the card has independent demand.
